Driver

Drives vehicles with people carrying capacity of less than 27 to deliver personnel to and from specified destinations, such as construction job site, workers camp etc.

·         Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.

·         Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers

·         Turn in receipts and money received from deliveries

·         Drive vehicles with to and from specified destinations, such as railroad stations,   plants, residences, offices, or within industrial yards.

·         Drive trucks equipped with public address systems through city streets to broadcast announcements for advertising or publicity purposes.

·         Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile .

·         Perform emergency repairs, such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains, or spark plugs.

·         Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.

·         May position blocks and the ropes to secure a cargo for delivery. May be required to operate any vehicle class considered as light vehicle.

·         Operates vehicle in a safe and proper manner and obeys local traffic laws and regulations & transportation procedures. Checks vehicle each day before operating to ensure that all systems are functioning properly, i.e. brakes, tires, lights, indicators, horn, clutch, coolant and battery levels.

·         May be required to complete journey sheets to record destinations, mileage, fuel issues, etc.

·         When driving a passenger car, suburban, pick‐up etc., ensures that he carries no more than the designated number of passengers.

·          Reports any defect in his vehicle immediately to his workshop Supervisor.

·          Maintains a check on his vehicle for any regular maintenance.

·          Any violations committed by the driver and fines imposed by the authorized authorities will be paid personally by the driver.

·         Complies with, at all times, with all Company safety procedures.

Excellent driving skills,Flexible, effective team work and interpersonal skills,Good communication skills ,Good in communicating in English & Minimum of 5 years experience as driver with good driving record & must have valid level 3 driving license.
