The Protestant Agency for Diakonia and Development is an international NGO, and a member of the Action by Churches Together (ACT) Alliance. It supports food security, health and education projects implemented by local faith based and civil society partners in Ethiopia, Somalia, South Sudan and Sudan. Duty Station: Addis Ababa with occasional travels as required
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Project Management
Assists program officers in ensuring partner compliance with policies and procedures of the Protestant Agency for Diakonia and Development and other donors’ requirementsAppraises and prepares written summaries and analyses of project applications as well as financial and narrative project reportsEnters information into various databases and contributes to constant quality control of electronic and written documentation/archivingMonitors and keeps tight timelines even when under pressure in a self-guided manner and produces high quality outputsPrepares and participates in meetings and trainings Prepares and participates in field and monitoring visits to implementing partners and follow upsMaintains and archives the documentation of projects Shares and documents lessons learnt and good practices and contributes to internal knowledge managementAssists in the drafting of ToR’s and the implementation of partner capacity assessmentsAccepts other duties as assigned

Diploma or Degree in Information Technology Systems or Information Communication Technology from a recognized University/College
Experience
Relevant work and/or internship experience of up to 2 years in an international or national NGOs is a plusDemonstrable focus of academic and professional work on thematic areas relevant to the organizationFamiliarity with financial statements and basic accounting is an assetExperience with – issues such as gender, population growth, HIV/AIDS, environment, disability/differently abled persons is an additional asset
