Ethiopia: A LOGISTICS COORDINATOR -ETHIOPIA

We are looking for: A LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Country: Ethiopia, based in Addis

Length of Contract:6 months, starting as soon as possible

General objective:Secure sound logistical performance and coordination at mission level in order to provide programs with optimum support

Responsibilities:

Participate in the recruitment and train a new CLMManage the log department in Addis and provide support to the basesValidate all the PPPs and supply plans of the projects in Dollo Ado, Sekota, Borena and Kebri DeharCarry out a benchmarking of other INGO’s logistics procedures (supply)Adapt ACF Ethiopia supply procedures to the Ethiopian contextInform the bases and train the log bases on the new proceduresOptimize the log department organization and performance and train staff accordinglyCoach the new national log coordinatorMake sure that markets surveys are carried out and best places for supplies identifiedAudit or participate in the organization of audit of the logistics operations of the basesDesign a realistic plan of action of the log department for the following 6 monthsIn case of an emergency, make sure that the CLM and log team participate efficiently and meet the needs of the emergency response program.

Qualification and previous experience:You hold a bachelor degree in logistics and have occupied a similar position on the field for an international NGO, with several bases.

A previous experience in the field of logistics and/or security management with ACF is preferable. A first experience in Ethiopia will be a plus.

You demonstrate excellent ability to train a national coordinator and a log team

Your relational skills are excellent.

You speak and write English fluently.

Total average yearly gross income : from 44910€ to 51410€Fixed-term contract, provided by ACF according to the French legislation.All expenses paid on the field:

o Support to the R & R costs : 110€/month average

o Transportation costs to and from the mission : 460€/ month average,

o Collective or individual accommodation depending on position : 700€/month average

o Food and hygiene expenses (living allowance) : 276€/month

o Per Diem : 163€/month

Gross monthly salary ranging from €1805 to €2305 (13rd month included), depending on relevant experienceSocial benefits: Medical, life and accident insurance provided by the institution25 days of annual paid leaves20 days of extra leaves per year (taken as recovery time breaks of one week every 2 or 4 months depending on the mission)Pre departure training, at the HQ in Paris
