Sales Representative Job at Repi-Wilmar Soap and Detergent S. Co - 2015


Job Purpose:


Repi -Wilmar Soap and Detergent S.Co. produces four major categories of products. The products can be used by different customer groups. Currently the company is expanding its capacity, innovating new brands and assuring the products available to its customers in Ethiopia. The sales representative plays the pivotal role within the company’s sales organization, working at the forefront of our business to develop and grow the market within the assigned sales district. The sales representative is expected to study the market nature, identify opportunities, develop and drive sales of powder detergent, bar detergent, liquid detergent and laundry soap brands through building strong relationship with key customers through regular contact, business development and networking in all sales areas. 


 


Main Duties:


Working as a key point between customer & organization.Handle complete sales life cycle within the assigned district.Build strong relationship internally and externally with key stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience.Work jointly with distributors to manage the distribution network and seek opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Ensuring high quality customer satisfaction.Maintain records on merchandising, demand planning, sales trend and analyze the records to identify sales opportunities.Ensuring 100% achievement of volume target and KPI targets.Visit clients on to demonstrate use of products, show samples and take orders.Develop and update knowledge of our products and the competitors’ products. Speak with sales and marketing personnel in his/her region to determine the best methods of promoting products.Establish customers’ needs and explain and demonstrate products to them, which may involve providing technical descriptions of products and how they may be used.



Education :


BA degree Marketing/Business management/ Economics or related fields.


Work Experience :


Minimum of two years working experience in sales positions. Experience as sales staff in FMCG producing companies is advantageous.


Skills Required:


Strong communication skills.Creative and confident.Highly motivated and self-starter Ability to give presentation about the products features and benefits in front of different types of customers.Can perform under high pressure.Strong opportunity identification, business development and sales skills Experience in working flexible environment.Experience is making quotes, negotiation & deal closing.Can have good planning, reporting and customer record keeping skill.Must have demand planning and order management skill.Able to travel to different areas. Computer literate.
