Médecins Sans Frontières Belgium is an international humanitarian medical organization, involved in different medical emergencies and health programs in Ethiopia since 1985. MSF France has started its new Primary Health Care Project in r Gambella Region and seeks to recruit the following:

Job summary
Developing Women Health Services and provides technical expertise in midwifery:
Carrying out ANC/PNC consultations, deliveries and practicing delicate technical acts if necessary (vacuum extraction, curettage etc.) under the supervision of the MSF MDEnsure that proper guidelines and protocols/recommendations are known and followed by the staff in the Health Center (FP, ANC/PNC, post abortion care, STI, deliveries, etc…)Participate in the smooth organization of outpatients and inpatients services connected to women healthDeveloping the necessary outreach strategy and activities to organize/ensure the mobilization of women within the different HC catchment’ area communities Organize on the job training on simple obstetric procedures (deliveries etc…), identification and prevention of complications including ANC/PNC consultations for the medical staff Advising on complicated obstetric and gyneco cases to ensure (as much as possible) adequate and timely referrals working in close collaboration with MSF MDEnsuring infection control and hygiene procedures (including standard precautions) in the Maternity service. Organizing health education sessions with mothers on the importance of anti-tetanus vaccinations, available contraception means, the benefits of breast feeding, etcProviding adequate support to identified victims of SGBV (sexual gender based violence)Implementing protocols adapted to the context and remote environment, based on MoH/WHO recommendations and guidelinesStrengthening and ensuring quality of specific services offered to women attending HC (acceptability, confidentiality, one stop services, etc…)Ensuring timely data collection and reporting
Salary:
In accordance with the organizations salary scale and mobility policy
