The Program Manager’s main activities are to:
• Act as the role of Contract Fulfillment Responsible (CFR) whenever requested.
• Create high-level program plans in order to provide guidance to projects when detailed project plans are created. Optimize schedules and plans across the program.
• Enable optimized resource planning and utilization on a program level in order to maximize efficiency across the account.
• Coordinate change requests in order to maximize efficiency in terms of resources and cost across the account.
• Manage inter-dependencies of tasks across all projects in the account.
• Support the mitigation of risks which impacts the direction of multiple projects and/or the program.
• Foster an environment and culture in which projects can be executed successfully.
• Enable the project teams to visualize the “big picture” including the customer business vision and objectives.
• To act (if requested) as a central point of contact for customer operational issues, dealing with queries and communications.
• Provide guidance, leadership, support and feedback to CPM’s and other project support functions.
• Pro-actively support line organizations in resource and competence management especially forecasting (establishing the right level of delivery capability).
• Support The Customer Unit Governance & Perfomance Mgr with input and guidance to the PMO portfolio management.
• Pro-actively participate in the OSDP process.
• Together with Key Account Managaer organization review customer account portfolio and suggest new business opportunities.
• Together with KAM organization present new customer solutions and opportunities.
• Together with KAM organization review current project portfolio in order to incorporate new business opportunities and customer orders with maximized efficiency.
Required education and experience
• A University degree in engineering or business administration, or substantial work experience.
• Minimum of 6 years experience in the Communications Industry, with at least 4 years in customer project management on an international level.
Professional /Technical Competence
• Excellent program and project management skills.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in commercial, financial and contractual project aspects.
• Good technical knowledge in telecom engineering.
• Excellent ability to embrace, implement and analyze potential impacts of changes and improvements.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Business Competence
• Highly developed customer and business orientation with strong commercial and operational skills in the project environment.
Human Competence
• Ability to facilitate and manage all aspects of stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent leadership focusing on managing relationships, conflict resolutions, providing vision, managing conflicts, finding win-win solutions and motivating team members.
• Skilled in communication, presentation, persuasion and negotiation.
• Possesses personal drive, integrity, trustworthiness.
• Is well organized with an analytical mind.
• Excellent oral and written English.
• High level of cultural awareness in an international environment.
