Duties and responsibilities
• The MHRHSDO HVC Program coordinator will be primary
responsible for managing HVC focused project implementation.
The incumbent will be responsible to over all coordination of the
implementation of all zonal deferent projects and to manage
staff, logistic and allocated and utilize budget of the project in
line with MHRHSDOs and Donors policy’s/he will be responsible
to engage all relevant local government officials, community
committees, community volunteers and target beneficiaries in
the process of the project implementation in order to improve
lives of HVC and their families in the project areas.
• Leads implementation and monitoring of the designed
project to achieve programmatic, financial and
administrative goals, and makes sure that project resources
and utilized for the project only in line with applicable
MHRHSDOs and donor policies and procedures
• Build/ strengthen effective partnership and networking with
deferent stakeholders and institutions in the target areas
• Ensure that all financial matters are dealt in accordance to the
accounting poll icy of the organization.
• Prepare and submit monthly update report for MHRHSDO,
quarterly and annual report to the government signatory offices,
MHRHSDO and donors.
• Effectively manages staffs working on the project to achieve set
goals
• Ensure production of timely and accurate project and financial
reports to MHRHSDO and donors as required beads on agreed
format
• Conduct frequent planned supervision and monitoring visits to
project woredas manage and maintain the relationship of project
with community volunteers and community committee
• Work with the Head office team and manage the project level
monitoring and information system in order to respond fully to
MHRHSDO and donor reporting requirements;
• Ensure continues data management and project quality
according to MHRHSDO Monitoring and Evaluation Guide line:
• Provide adequate technical assistance to the program/project
officers and monitoring and evaluation officers, community
moblizers, community volunteers and others
• Compile, share and disseminate lesson learned, promising
practices and challenges
• Perform any other duties appropriate to the position and
assigned by the immediate supervisor
• Organize and/or conduct monitoring and internal reviews based
