Position: AutoCAD Designer
Reporting to: Senior Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:
Tetra Tech requests expressions of interest from highly qualified CAD Designer candidates to work in our Addis Ababa, Ethiopia office which is focused on design and engineering services supporting the USAID-funded Ethiopia Health Infrastructure Program (EHIP). Primary responsibilities will include:
- CADD for renovation of up to 300 existing Health Care Centers throughout Ethiopia including creation of existing conditions drawings, proposed renovation plans and master plans.
- Creation of standard drawings and details for use in renovation work.
- Organization of drawing sets and electronic filing using Tetra Tech and client standards.
- Modification of existing prototype drawings for use in the renovation program.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Senior Civil Engineer.
Qualifications
- Advanced technical training degree and/or certificate indicating CADD proficiency;
- 10 + years’ experience and/or the ability to demonstrate advanced CADD proficiency;
- Use of Autodesk products - AutoCAD 3D design knowledge a plus;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based word processing and spreadsheet software is strongly desired;
- Experience working on multi-discipline projects including building design and infrastructure design;
- Experience with Health Care facilities planning and design is strongly desired;
- Coordination and file management experience for multi-discipline projects including QC for CAD conformance with Tetra Tech and client standards.
