JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: As a true business partner to the CEO and operational managers, assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and EAH’s long-term strategy. Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.Engage the board finance, audit, and investment committees around issues, trends, and changes in the operating model(s) and operational delivery. Assist in establishing yearly objectives and meeting agendas, and selecting and engaging outside consultants (auditors, investment advisors). Oversee long-term budgetary planning and costs management in alignment with EAH strategic plan, especially as the organization considers sponsorships, potential acquisitions, and collaborations with external organizations.Financial and Operational ManagementOversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, regulatory requirements, and Office of Management and Budget audit requirements. Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate all audit activities.Partner with the Manager of information technology (IT) to procure specialized finance IT systems that meet the needs of the organization.Manage cash flow and forecasting. Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs. Optimize the handling of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions.Oversee budgeting and the implementation of budgets so as to monitor progress and present financial metrics both internally and externally.
Team ManagementMentor and develop thefinance team by managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic. Qualifications: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred; a CPA would be a plus.At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Demonstrable passion for EAH mission; a hands-on manager with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic environment.Mature and proactive, with evidence of having worked as a true business partner to the CEO of a multi-divisional organization.Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.Deep understanding of and experience with Office of Management and Budget audits.Past experience successfully partnering with IT staff to manage critical financial management systems.An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral and written skills and a willingness to share information.A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality.Creativity, with experience funding activities in ways that both cover costs and generate operating margins.Applicants must be willing to work in Addis Ababa.5 Full-Time position(s) available.

1. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

   The Plant Manager can be a pharmacist, a chemist, an engineer or another person with first degree knowledge and experience in a the areas of cosmetics manufacturing, planning and steering production, knowledge of machines, GMP and related QA systems, and has a provern leadership capabilities with for at least ten years working experience.

2. GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

   He/Shee is responsible for the cosmetics manufacturing in accordance with the GMP quality requirements within given time frames and costs of production.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

    3.1 Plans and controls the production of cosmetic producs as well as the stock of raw materiasl and finished products in such way           that the requirements of the customers are met (PPIC Production Planning and Inventroy Control). Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, and shiping;

   3.2 Lead subordinates in all process and packaging activities, both technically and administratively;

    3.3 Improve effectiveness and efficiency of the production.

   3.4 Develop a network of working relationships with related government regulatory institutes. Evaluate the performance of the production, carry out continuous improvement and monitors through daily and monthly reports.

   3.5 Responsible for the implementation of quality standards in all stages of the production process, from receiving raw materials, weighing, process, packaging to sending the goods tot the finished product area.

   3.6 Responsible for the availability of the Standar Operating Procedures (SOP) for the plant.

   3.7 Responsible for checking the Process Batch Records and Pacakging Batch Records in order to ensure that all steps in the production are in accordance with the SOP Process and SOP Packaging.

     3.9 Responsible for maintaing a safe, clean and hygienic production area.

     3.10 Foster a well trained and motivated staff maintains discipline and conduct employee performance reviews.

     3.11 Other duties as assigned.

4. COMPETENCIES

   4.1 Adjust the number of workers, assign and promote workers in the Plant in accordance with the production needs and with the consent of the General Manager;

    4.2 Prepares a yearly budget with the consent of the manager and controls the budget subsequently;

   4.3 Request and/or approves the procurement of equipment and infrastracture for the plant in accordance with the prevailing company procedures and regulations;

    4.4 Approves changes and improves SOP's in the Plant

   The product development expert can be a pharmacist, a chemist, or a chemical engineer or another person with first degree knowledge and experience in the areas of cosmetics manufacturing, with specialization on hair care, skin care and decorative products with a minimum of 10 years experience in the field.

2. GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

   The expert is responsible for developing and launching new products not in the present product portfolio but needed in the market and improving the existing company products.

3. JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  3.1 Assess existing company products and improve where necessary in light of cost effectiveness and customer need.

  3.2 Makes intensive market study, develops and launches new products.

  3.3 Recommends and executes new packaging requirements which would boost product appearance and market preference.

   3.4 Makes cost effective formulation for hte new products and the existing ones.

  3.5 Prepares SOP for the new products.

  3.6 Carries out continuous improvement on the product and processess of the plant.

  3.7 Prepares quality standards in all stages of the production process, form receiving raw materials, weighing, process, and packaging to sending the goods to the finished product area.

    3.8 Recommends and finds reliable raw material suppliers for the product.

   3.9 Makes benchmarking on imported competitor products and implements improvement ideas on company products where ever necessary.

4. COMPETENCIES

   4.1 Should be able to prepare a yearly executable plan in the area of his/her responsibility.

  4.2 Should be able to give training to the staffs who will implement his new ideas and products.

  4.3 Must have good communication skill with the other staffs in English.

  4.4 Must have a good marketing skill to comprehend customer needs and converting it in to products.
